Em is a funny girl when it comes to the clothes she puts on. She has a REAL opinion about what she will and will not wear and I am just not used to it. Sarah will still wear just about anything I tell her to wear without any comment. Em, well Em pretty much doesn't want to wear what ever it is I suggest. Last year Ian came to her rescue more than once (after I left her crying in her room telling her she could go to pre-school naked for all I cared) going upstairs after hearing her crying he was able to suggest an outfit and she was willing to where it to my amazement. I have finally figured out that she likes the control of choosing what ever she puts on and I have been seen with a child in tow wearing an interesting verity of clothing from rain boots and sun dresses to sandals, tank tops and short pants on cold and rainy days. She even insists on choosing the jammies she wears at night and will most likely change her clothes at least twice a day (most often more). She will just disappears and then reappear in a new outfit with the old one all over the floor of her bedroom. And her shoes (ugh the shoes!), she ALWAYS takes her shoes off. Every time I open the car door the shoes are on the floor and I have to put them back on her before I can get her out of the car. I have started telling her when she can take them off just to keep from having to put them on several times a day. Really, when it doesn't effect me, I kind of like her style. I love that she knows what she wants and and isn't afraid to wear it. (did you notice that she is wearing her pants backwards? she likes to where them that way)
