Four!

This little cutie has some golfing style going on!
Emily played Jr. Golf this year and got out and played 3 holes a couple of times. I had to walk with her and even though I am glad she is playing and I love spending time with her I have one word for it
PAINFUL
4 little kids chasing around the balls, 3 holes took 2 hours. Again painful.
BUT
she sure looked cute!

Glow Ball Golf

The Slingsby's joined us for the last Twilight Golf ~ Glow Ball

We golfed 9 holes during daylight {Jane was on fire!} and then headed back out to golf in the dark with our glow ball after dinner. It is seriously hard to drive the golf cart in the dark and we didn't think to bring flashlights. The really sad thing is our score was better in the dark than during the daylight. =(

OGC Member Guest Tournament

Terry asked Branden to golf with him this year in OGC's Member Guest Tournament
Sarah and I came out to the club to watch the Horse Race on Thursday night

On Saturday night after the tournament was over there was a formal dinner and dancing.
The Gregory's golfed with the Clark's so I got to visit with Barbie and Meg.

Jane's husband also golfed int he tournament so we got to hang out too

The Maloney's {parents & kids} also golfed
After the dinner we danced the night away

Hard Core

Jane and I along with Jane's daughter Emily golfed at Sandelie Golf Course because we could not golf at OGC because it was closed due to the Member Guest tournaments. Not only did we golf 18 holes, Jane pulled her clubs and I carried mine AND I got my best score to date - 103. I know it is still a high score but my game is defiantly a work in progress.
I ended up getting a blister on the back of my foot
I wasn't used to walking 18 as we usually take a cart at OGC.

Meeting Jane for Bloody Mary's

I mean golf
Jane and I have been golfing on ladies day {Wednesday mornings} pretty regularly attempting to get our official handicap but the Bloody Mary's have become a staple to our golf game. They are Oh, so good. The best part being the olive we get to eat when the drink is done.
Empty! :(

Jane and I on OGC's signature hole {# 12} which we can now hit over the rose gully and make it on the green. I actually made par on this hole the last time I played - a HUGE accomplishment for me!

Twilight Golf

We golfed in the Twilight Golf at OGC and the theme was patriotic so we all got into the mood of the evening and dressed in red, white & blue. I think it all went down hill from there.
The Sedgewick's, The Potter's, The Slingsby's & The Gaffney's
The Girls
The Guys

They undid the strap on the Gaffneys golf clubs and as they drove away Aideens clubs fell and then Bills fell. After that you couldn't drive away without first checking to see if your clubs were still strapped in and even then there were still clubs falling almost to the end of the night. This is Aideen rolling on the ground laughing about Bill's clubs falling - AGAIN!
Hanging in the cart - notice that Terry decorated our cart to go along with the theme.
