We WON! (finally)

On Saturday Ian's football team had their last game. It has been a tough season with their record being 1 and 6 going into this game. They have had a losing season that is for sure, but interestingly enough it dosn't seam to faze Ian. He understands that they keep loosing but he still loves football. When asked how his team did he replies good naturedly "we lost again" and when asked if he likes football his reply is "YES!" and his favorite part is still "hitting people". The game is right up his ally. He gets to hit people and no one yells at him and no time outs! No wonder he likes the game. Well, this last Saturday was the last game and as I said going into it they were 1 and 6. It was painful and heartbreaking to watch some of the games as a parent, each time just hoping they would win just one more game and they finally did! It was exciting to watch because it was by no means a blow out and they won it in the last minutes of the game. The boys were SO excited when the winning touchdown was made, jumping up and down like crazy. It probably was the best moment in the whole season - watching the boys celebrate their win.
Congratulations Red Team!

These are some of my favorite pictures of Ian playing football. I love it that he is against a guy so much bigger than he is and that he keeps trying to stay with the guy. Now that is perservance.
