I had a very nice relaxed Mother's Day. We worked in the yard planting {something I really enjoy} and getting things cleaned up from the winter and after Terry got back home from doing a case we went to brunch at La Provence {a very yummy place to have breakfast}.

Ian enjoyed the Sunday comics after eating
they served us these very yummy chocolate filled roll - yummmmm!
and although they had a pre-selected menu {so I couldn't get one of my favorite things} I got to try something new that was very good too.
The kids showered me with homemade gifts - Ian gave me some hand made paper that he made at school and the girls sewed cute little gifts for me. A very impressive "M" from Sarah and a miniature pillow from Emily. {will photograph and post later}

Oh! We need to go there soon together! Did you know I saw your girls at the pool today? It was sort of like seeing you.... I know we were both "on property" at the same time at least!
