A Wicked Book to read

My book club was at Charlot's house and she prepared a very yummy meal with these delicious desserts - I think I even heard her say "have two they are a weight watchers recipe".

We discussed Wicked even though only two of us had finished the book {not I}. It is a very tough book to read with made up words and places and plots hard to follow {and I have seen and liked the play and still find it hard to read}. We managed to still have a good discussion even with only two people reading the whole book and several of us plan on trying to finish it. Our next book Finding Tom Connor by Sarah-Kate Lynch is a funny book with a funny story of what we had to do to "find" it.  I can't wait to start it.

I am now on page 200+... I am determined to finish (I think?). Looking forward to getting Finding Tom Connor. Any word on its arrival? Those desserts were so yummy and pretty too!!

I read it a few years before I saw the play... and I think that order was probably better than the reverse. The play was basically a Disney esque version of the book (i.e. the book was definitely not written for children). I'm not sure that I'd really "recommend" the book because of some of the strange content, but I liked it for the most part.

See you soon!
