My friend Jane bought two spots to a knitting party from our auction but her daughter was unable to attend so she invited me to join her. Always up for a party, I accepted, although I really didn't think it was something I would do past the day of the party. It ended up being more fun than I expected and I have the beginnings of a scarf to show for it. The girls have put in a request for a scarf of their own and Sarah even asked me if I would show her how to knit. I'm not sure I know how to show anyone else but I will go out and get some kid knitting needles and give it my best shot. Thanks Jane for a great time and something that I can share with my girls.

Good work! Yes, let's get together soon! I have lots of extra yarn and needles if you'd like to borrow them (you don't have to give the yarn back :-)

That was such a fun party! I do have to admit that I have not knitted much since the party - but after April 15th I will definitely have more time!
