I had to work in Sarah's classroom so I was listening to the inauguration on the radio on my way in. As I walked into the school there was an earie quiet, kind of like "not a creature was sturing" kind of quiet and I heard an echoing voice. It turned out to the the inauguration heard on the many TV's through out the classrooms and the gym in the school. 235 kids sat quietly watching history take place - and it gave me goosebumps. I think my kids {at least Ian and Sarah} just expearienced their first "I know exactly where I was when... took place" moment.
I didn't have my camera with me so I use my phone. Not the best photo but this is Sarah's 2nd grade class and the 6th grade class sitting in the library watching the inauguration.
