We met at Chantal's house for book club {it is beginning to be a January tradition} to discuss A Thousand Splendid Suns, a book that we all seamed to like and agreed that it was a disturbing but beautifully written story. We had a great discussion, even better food and celebrated the New Year with poppers that were filled with a prize, a crown, and a fortune or joke. We also welcomed Michelle to the group. We were only missing Angela {who's sister had her baby early}
