Have I told you just how much I like to blog? Not only do I love to post but I love to read too! I check in with the people I know daily {ok, I will admit sometimes more than once a day} and am sad when there is no new post. Some I can count on to post daily and others weekly or less. No matter, I enjoy them just the same.
Recently I have been trying to get my friend Chantal to start a blog {I need more blogs to read} because I think she is funny and I could just imagine her blogging. I thought it would suit her {not to mention once again - I need more blogs to read}. So, today was the day. Chantal called me because she was trying to set her blog up and had a few questions. I was returning some kegs {the auction duties never end} and was lost and told her I would call her back. When I was on my way home I realized I was near where she lives so I stopped by to help her in person! Yeah! Another blogger {this makes 5 people that I got started} she even posted about me. It made me laugh and feel good all over. Here is a little of what she said.......
I met Suz about 10 years ago she was big into scrapboking...which is how we met and became friends...for that I am grateful to another friend Rhonda, but that is a story for another time...over the years Suz tried to convince me to join her book club...at the time I could not tell you the last book I had read cover to cover, it was likely in high school. So after 7 years of her persistent efforts I gave into the Cool Chicks book club...who knew what a blessing that would be! I now read just about every book we select for three years now and I love it and all of the women I have been honored to meet and call my friends as a result....So we have moved from scrapbooking {which I dream of having time for at least once a day} to book club {which I treasure} to your guessed it.....BLOGGING....She should SERIOUSLY be in sales! I was NOT going to give in but her blogs are so charming and fun and I am generally NEVER at a loss for words....so here I am the author for The Whimsical Wrights. However, I have to say day one....it is FUN!!! Suz, once again you are my hero and thank you for dragging me into cyberspace as I am having a good time.

I love people who blog! And I check yours at least three times a day. Once when I wake up, just to make sure you didn't post something while I was asleep, once when I get home, to see if something happened in the morning, and once before I go to bed. I sometimes think if I had a wireless card on my computer I'd be on everyones blogs all day. Fun!!!
Tara, I check yours at least that many times a day! I LOVE to see what is going on with you.
What a fun and creative way to keep in touch with people. I never really felt our Christmas letter was quite enough....now I have yet another way to stay in touch that is fun and something to look forward to!
By the way Tara, it would be fun to have you back in the book club if you have time that is!
Now I need more Blog Buddies and links to get more ideas!
