In May of 2008 the gas prices were $3.84 per gallon which I found interesting at the time because the year before people were in an uproar as the prices headed over $1.50 per gallon but as prices moved up and up and up this time I didn't hear anything about it this time. I think maybe we were numb to it this time. By December of 2008 prices had come down to $1.64 per gallon and I was loving it. Unfortunately prices have ballooned up once again. It sure is painful to pay over $3 a gallon but I was told by my California friends that they were paying more than $4 and sometimes more than $5 per gallon in some areas.
