Goodbye

a few days ago I had to say good bye to my big sis

and I am quit sad, I am going to miss her terribly

my mom and I drove down to have dinner with her and say good bye

we cried, we laughed and we cried again

James and Gerri have lived in Oregon for about 8 years and we have been so very lucky to have them so close. To spend holidays and birthdays, to visit with Mickey and his family when them come out. All these years we have been blessed to have them so close and now James's family needs them. It all happened so fast, they packed up there stuff and are gone. Not too far, only New Mexico but not just down the road in Salem anymore.

Gerri is the best big sister, and although we are not related by blood we are related in ways that are hard to put to words and that can never be separated. I am blessed, truly blessed, to have had Gerri as a sister. I love her dearly.
