Yesterday was the first day of school and although I was not ready for the routine of driving, homework and after school activities I guess it was time to get their brains churning once again. The girls were excited to go back and see all their friends {Emily was particularly sad about a missing friend who moved named Sarah and even shed a tear or two} but Ian was like me and was not ready for the summer to end. The kids had free dress for their first day of school but tomorrow back to uniforms.
This is my sweet Sarah. She is in the 3rd grade and is excited about it and loves her new teacher Mrs. Riahard. She even had homework on her first day of school.
Ian is my handsome guy and he is now in the 5th grade {seriously, how did that happen?} Although he wasn't exactly excited about going back to school he had a great day, was happy to see his friends again and really liked his teacher Mrs. "V".
and here is my baby.... Emily who is in the 1st grade.
Not sure how she grew up so fast, how can she possibly be a first grader? She loved her first day and really likes that she has a desk now. She likes her new teachers Mrs Budd & Mrs. Erickson, enjoyed seeing her friends and was happy she didn't have homework.

Sara is missing all her OLL friends too... all the kids grew so much this summer!! So, So happy to see you posting again.... missed you.
