Emily Loves them all!
The other day when just Emily and I were home alone I was busy paying bills and Emily was busy entertaining herself - she had been in and out of the house, singing to herself, drawing pictures, and any number of things. I hadn't heard anything in about 30 minutes so I decided to check on her and this is what I found.......
Emily had taken most of the leaves off of my basil plant and put them on a wood plank and moved this slug {I can barley say it without wrinkling my nose} on top of all the leaves. She named him Slimy - how very appropriate.
She has also been feeding some ants that she calls her "pet ants" that I have asked her several times to "please stop feeding!" but I have caught her out there day after day providing something sweet for them to eat. She didn't name the ants as there were too many.
