Simple Woman's Daybook

I actually did this post on Monday and forgot to "post" it, so here it is better late then never. It seams to be a theme in my life these days.

FOR TODAY Monday, April, 20th 2009

Outside my window... SUNSHINE, and it is our second day of it in a row, although rain is forcasted for Wednesday. 

I am thinking... that I am thrilled to have this years auction over.

I am thankful for... my husband and his support of our auction and of the work I did on the auction.

From the kitchen... nothing at the moment but I cooked last night. Well, sort of. I assembled a salad {a good one though} and Terry grilled burgers.

I am wearing... tan shorts {yes, shorts! Yeah!}, a short sleeve purple shirt and black flip flops.

I am creating... I have many projects in the works but at the moment but after the auction I am taking time to just be.

I am going... to Nappa {not sure when} with the Slingsby's and the Gaffney's. We bought it at the auction on Saturday night.

I am reading... I should be reading the Boy in the Striped Pajama's but I am reading ---- a book that Ian red in class last month.

I am hoping... 

I am hearing... birds chirping and the very distant noise of a small plane flying high in the sky.

Around the house... some boxes that the girls turned into there "church" where they have been practicing mass with "bread & water".

One of my favorite things... friends.
