to Coronado
{a little island about a 15 minute boat ride away}
it was a beautiful island with white sand beaches and clear blue green water.
{one problem - it had a lot of bees}
{Sarah HATES bees}
{there was a lot of screaming and running away from the bees}
The kids had fun trying out snorkeling for the first time
{love the way Emily snorkels}
and gathered SO many shells.
on the way to the island our boat driver took the long way to the island and stopped several places of interest.
an extra clear spot that we could see fish of bright colors swimming around the boat
some beautiful rock formations full of seagulls, pelicans and crabs
and the most exciting to the kids
a bunch of seals
Our boat driver got so close it felt like we could reach out and touch them
as we pulled up he barked at them and several answered back.
