Tara and I plotted to get tickets to go see Wicked months ago and as luck would have it I was sent an email giving me the opportunity to buy tickets before they went on sale to the general public. I bought six, three for me and three for Tara. My "dates" were Gerri and Aideen and Tara's were Gina {who flew in from Salt Lake} and Brenda. Notice that Tara even wore green! We had such a good time. It was truly a wonderful evening spent with girlfriends.

We met downtown at a restaurant {who's name I can't remember, Tara can you help me out?} and ate some yummy food. This was our appetizer that was called Dragon something which was fitting with the Dragon Clock in Wicked.
I really love the play even though I didn't like the book but the two couldn't be more different. There are no happy endings in the book but the play ends happy with Glenda and Elphaba still friends and with Elphaba still alive and running off with her love although all of Emerald City thinks she is dead and her love is a scarecrow but they are happy. The woman who played Glenda was fabulous! She was SO funny and had me laughing several times. My favorite part was the "toss, toss" she did with her hair and even tried to teach it to Elphaba. I think I have it down pat now!

It was Dragonfish (for the record) and it was so fun huh! I love having these traditions with you, and just wish I was in Mexico enjoying your sun! It's been snowing on and off all week here!
You're so lucky that you got to see it again. I LOVE Wicked. It is so, so great. Every time.
