Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY Monday, March 16, 2009

Outside my window... a very gray and dreary day with puddles of water {from the torrential down pour this weekend} on our deck and our big heavy metal chairs flung about our yard {haven't been picked up yet} from the wind storm.

I am thinking... about packing and everything else I need to do before we leave town next Tuesday.

I am thankful for... warm clothes, warm bed, and a  warm house to be in when the weather is lousy.

From the kitchen... the usual.... NOTHING. Terry has a meeting so I will just need to figure out what to feed the kids while we are on the run tonight, and it can't be Mc Donald's, we gave that up for lent.

I am wearing... Lucy black Capri length pants {my ankles sure are cold}, green t-shirt with a long sleeve black Adidas shirt over it, black shoes {i am going to put on warm fuzzy socks soon}.

I am creating... STILL working on that blog book, but.... I am closer to being done.

I am going... All over the place today, kids school, dance studio for girls, mac store for Ian, Costco to pick up a few things and in one short week MEXICO. Yeah for the sunshine!

I am reading... I am finally, finally, finally done with Wicked and have started Finding Tom Connor by Sarah-Kate Lynch. Book candy, especially compared to Wicked.

I am hoping... praying for sure, that we will be safe on our travels.

I am hearing... silence

Around the house... a mess, I haven't' seen my house keeper in 4 weeks. I can't keep up!

One of my favorite things... my house keeper, boy do I ever miss her.

A few plans for the rest of the week.... do laundry, pay bills, pack, go back and forth to the kids school, take girls to dance class, Sarah to choir, Ian to a class at the Mac store, puppy class, clean, .......
