Swimming

Ian is in his third of year of swimming for CYO {Catholic Youth Organization}. It is a great sport to be involved with {from my point of view}, there are no week night practices and only 5 meets plus a championship meet, and you really only need to swim in two to be eligible for the championship meet. He is defiantly not the fastest swimmer in the group but he enjoys it, has learned how to swim the breast stroke, is learning how to swim the butterfly and learning how to do a flip turn, and he has won a few ribbons {even a first place}. He is competing against other swimmers but so far he sees it as a competition against he last time and as soon as he gets out of the water he asks the timer what his time was. I hope he continues to swim with CYO. I tried to get Sarah to swim with CYO too, but no such luck. Maybe Emily will be interested in a couple of years.
