Facebook!
I was introduced to facebook by my friend Tara's sister Joanna. She bloged about it once and I typed "facebook" into my google search to check it out and decided to join myself. That is about as far as it went for quite sometime. A couple of months ago I was having a conversation with Tara about facebook and I said I had signed up but had all of 3 friends and before you knew it Tara and her two sisters had sent friend requests. Thanks Tara your the best. I originally joined my high school group, then a group looking for people I worked with at TWA, and then I joined a photography group {or two}. I started adding a few friends hear and there and then started checking facebook daily - then more friends and then checking it several times a day. It is truly addicting! One day while I was checking out what my "friends" were up to I got a little pop up message from my friend Michelle and a whole other aspect of facebook opened up! I could chat live with friends who were currently on line - Fun, fun, fun! The best part of facebook has been getting my siblings to join. First Chris {brother 5 years younger than me}, and how fun, I got to get a better idea of what he was up to in the Bay Area and know what was going on in his life and even see a photo of his girlfriend {who I have never met}. Then Laura {15 years younger than me and living in Alaska}, I emailed her and told her about facebook {im sure she knew about it but just hadn't joined} and let her know that Chris was on and how fun it would be if she and Scott {17 years younger and in the Air force and recently moved to Korea} joined. Soon after that I got a friend request from Laura and then Scott. I am thrilled to be able to have a little insight to the daily happenings of their life - and all due to my new obsession and a little help from a couple of friends!

Sure! Blame me for another obsession!! Question is, do you have the little facebook application on your phone yet? That's when you know you are totally in trouble!
I had fun at first and then felt like I was in a fishbowl too much! Random people knowing what I'm doing..........
Molly, I get the fishbowl thing but the +'s out weigh it for me. I recently made "friends" with someone I had worked with and had lost contact with from TWA so I am loving it even more!
I do love it too and it has been great connecting with long lost friends but there's a guy from my 20 year reunion that keeps writing on my wall and responding seconds after I update my status and I have no idea who he is!! He replies to all my updates. I guess there's no harm in that though!
Hey Suz, I'm enjoying facebook now too. i was hesitant at first, but its great to be able to catch up with you and chris and scott so easily. Thanks for convincing us:)Love ya!
