I read this post on my friend Holli's blog and loved the idea of answering a list of "simple" questions weekly that makes you think about things in a different way. If you want more information about the Simple Woman's Daybook check it out here and join us on this "simple" journey.
FOR TODAY Tuesday December 16, 2008
Outside my window... It is dark and cold
I am thinking... I am grateful that I am not alone in this world
I am thankful for... how hard my husband works to provide for us as a family
From the kitchen... there are dishes to be done and groceries to put away
I am wearing... long john bottoms and a warm sweater and warm ski socks
I am creating... a lifetime of memories
I am going... to bed soon
I am reading... Now Face to Face
I am hoping... I find time to get all the "stuff" I need to get done, done
I am hearing... silence - the kids are in bed
Around the house... it is messy from having the kids home on snow days - art projects everywhere!
One of my favorite things... right now are the very warm ski socks I have on my feet
A few plans for the rest of the week: to address my Christmas cards and finish writing the letter
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
Although the kids are really enjoying the day's off from school, tomorrow will be the third day in a row and I'm hoping that the kids don't start bouncing off the walls.

I loved this as well. Just added my own thoughts to my blog! I like how it makes you think outside of the news of the day. Fun.
I like this too....
