On Christmas Eve at 6 in the evening I decided that we had better make cookies to put out for Santa. We had not baked a single cookie during the season, and didn't have a cookie in the house for that matter, so if we didn't bake there would be no cookies for Santa. The kids were delighted and helped me roll, cut out and decorate a couple dozen cookies. I tasted a few so I know for a fact that Santa must have liked them.

Um, Santa got Costco cookies at my house. He seemed to like them, but maybe he would have liked homemade cookies better?
