Our tree just after Santa visited our home
The kids at the top of the stairs getting ready to see what Santa brought, although Ian had been up already for almost 2 hours. He had come into my room to ask if he could get up and through my bleary eyes I saw that it was 6:30 in the morning and asked him to give me 30 minutes. When he returned and I asked for another 30 minutes he asked if he could go and get his stocking. I wanted the kids to discover the puppy together so I went down got his stocking and gave it to him and then asked him to give me an hour. When he returned I pulled myself out of bed and told Ian to get the girls so they could come down together.
as they stood at the top of the stairs they heard a noise and quickly realized that it was a puppy and headed down the stairs as quick at they could with shouts and squeals of delight and they discovered a cute little tri-color Border Collie puppy.
Who was named Olive by all three kids
as in Olive the other Reindeer
{sing all of the other reindeer}
Olive was delighted to meet her new family but was soon exhausted with all the activity and had to lay down and take a nap.

Ogee {pictured here ready to go outside and bury his Christmas present} initially showed indifference and bewilderment towards Olive has now changed to slight irritation, occasionally growling to let Olive know she should leave his tail alone.
Santa was good to the Sedgewick family - Guitar Hero, Wii Fit, life size "stufties", boots, scarves, a robot, blendy pens, Christmas Pj's, music gift cards, video camera, and a puppy of course!
Christmas dinner {or lunch} consisted of this HUGE turkey {two days before Christmas my choice for fresh a turkey was either this 30 pounder or a 15 pounder}, mashed potatoes & gravy, asparagus, and butternut squash.
James, Gerri and Jared made the trip up from Salem but they said the drive was a white-knuckler all the way with a roll over accident on the freeway and the snow on our road like they were four-wheeling. I am so grateful that they made it safely to join us in celebrating Christmas - it wouldn't have been the same without them.

Finally, some Christmas pictures. LOVE, LOVE the name Olive!!! Can't wait to meet her.
Oh, let me know what your Wii fit age is?? I think I just about cried when it gave me mine! :)
I don't think I can say my Wii fit age out loud! What's not right is that Terry's made him younger by about 5 years.
Of course you can say it out loud!! :) I think I was 51 or something....but, keep taking the test, you will get younger and younger!! I am currently 25.
Cutest puppy in the world!
That looks like a Rockwell Christmas to me! Love the pics and most of all the puppy.
