Better Late Than Never

I finally got my Christmas cards in the mail. It was Christmas Eve and I almost didn't make it home from dropping them off because the roads were so treacherous, but they are out. Better late than never.

I ordered about 160 cards and sent about 150ish. I know it seems excessive but between our BIG families and our individual friends {met through school, work and old roommates} and then our friends we know together {met through work, baby groups and the kids school}. It is a lot of work but I actually don't mind what it takes for me to get them together and out in the mail. During the holidays visiting my mailbox  to see if we have received any Christmas cards is one of my very favorite things to do. I really love to get the cards and I especially love to get the cards with photos and letters especially from those people who we only manage to communicate with at just this time of the year. It actually made me sad that I got my cards out sooooo late, I would like to blame the weather and the fact that the mailman isn't delivering on a regular basis {what ever happened to "through rain, sleet, and snow" anyway?} but the fact of the matter is I just put it off and then Christmas was here before I knew it. Next year I hope to get them in the mail earlier.

We received your card yesterday. Cute picture! I too, love getting all the Christmas cards, pictures and letters each year. We did receive some Ecards this year and it just wasn't the same!

Suz, another Sedgewick classic photo! Loved the grey! BTW, my cards will be new year's cards considering we were stuck in LA and were forced to drive home. Our mail man just dropped off our TUB of mail today. It took me two hours to go through it all! Good Grief!
