Ten

How can it be. 

My son is 10 today! 

It just doesn't seem possible for my baby to be ten!

10!

Double Digits!

I love this kid with every ounce of my body and I thank the Lord that He put Ian in our lives. We are forever changed for the better for having him.

He was born on October 7th, 1998 at 4:44 PM, weighing in at 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was a whopping 18 inches long and this picture {one of my very favorites} was taken when he was 6 weeks old. Funny thing was up to this point I had assumed that his eyes were brown. It wasn't that I didn't look at him closely {I'm not sure we took our eyes off him much} it was just that they were such a dark blue that they looked, well maybe black, and I was consumed with being a new mom and all that it entailed. I just assumed that they would eventually be brown. I even wrote that he had brown eyes in his baby book but on the day they took this photo I was amazed at just how blue his eyes were and thought that maybe just maybe they would stay blue.
