The Pumpkin Patch

We headed over the fairy to the Flower Farm in Canby to pick out this years pumpkins. They have a train that takes you the a petting zoo {of sorts} and then on to the pumpkins, flowers and hay maze.
The kids played in the hay until we could manage to find all three of them out of the maze at the same time {a harder feat than you think} and then they each picked out a pumpkin that met there own idea of perfect. Ian's was as big as he could find, Sarah's a perfect round one, and Emily's small and cute. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful time spent as a family, the girls even picked some yummy apples off a tree and ate them right then and there.

It's hard to tell, but that's Em at the very top of the hay maze. She ran around in the very dark maze {but sleeps with the light on} with the best of them and I think I was more afraid watching her from the ground as she crawled all over on the outside and all the way to the top than she is to sleep with her light off at night.
