The other side of the bed

Yesterday my housekeeper {LOVE her} helped me organize the kids rooms and move the furniture around. Ian's bunk beds were up against the wall and always hard to make so we moved them with the head against the wall but in the center of the room. 

We had a busy afternoon {football practice for Ian and choir practice for Sarah} and Terry met us at the field for the last hour of Ian's practice and then we went to dinner. Once we got home I quickly got the girls to bed, Terry did his very favorite choir and took out the garbage {heavy sarcasm} and I helped Ian work on his daily summary paragraph that he has to write. When Ian was going to bed I remembered that we had moved his room around and I told him there was a surprise in his room and I followed him up so I could see his reaction which was laughter. He explained that while serving a lunch detention {for hitting another boy in frustration} he was chatting with the teacher. He told her that he had been grumpy the entire day and she suggested getting out of bed on the other side. He told her he couldn't because his bed was against the wall only to find it in the center of his room when he got home.
