I did it, I finally did it!
So, one of the reasons I blog is to chronicle the happenings of our family from the mundane to the wildly exciting {or not so exciting} moments, from our disappointments to our triumphs. I think the thing that sold me when I first started was the idea that there was a company called "Blurb" that could "slurp" your posts into some editing software and help you make a book out of your blog. I have been officially blogging for just over a year but had decided to make a blurb book on the calendar year so in January I "slurped" all the posts I had done from July to December and have been working on them {rearranging, correcting many spelling and grammar errors, & adding some pictures} I uploaded the book once but then was too chicken to order it. What if I made a mistake or something? Blurb only keeps the uploaded book for a few days and if you don't order it, well it disappears. Once mine was gone from the blurb site I continued to work on it and tweak it and then blurb updated their software and added the ability to change one of the things that bothered me most - the ability to justify my text. I HAD to go back and justify each and every page. {I know this post isn't justified - I have tried over and over again even retyping the whole thing to no avail, it looks justified until I publish it UGH!} It took a while but I finally decided that I was ready to order it and I am very excited to see it in person {even with ALL of the errors that I am sure it will have}. I got an email today that it was shipped - Yeah, I wonder if I will get it about the time I get my phone. What an exciting week to look forward to, my new Sprint Instinct phone and my "blurb" book. It's the little things that excite me.

Oh fun! I hope it turns out well. I want to do it someday, but it seems like such an enormous project...
