At one of Ian's practices Emily played a little football herself. By the way she left the little boy in the dust it looks like we have a future football player on our hands. While I really don't want her to play football the the boys when she gets older these days it isn't really far fetched. Ian has a girl on his football team named Riley {she was on her lacrosse team also} and there are at least 3 other girls on the 3/4 football teams and all of them are quite good. Of course being the supportive mom I would stand behind her if she chooses to play a traditional "boy's" sport I just don't see it happening with her love of all things girlie.
