Handy Man!

When we were in Sunriver in June the kids were drawing pictures and Ian drew a picture of the trees on the front side of our property {one already contained a tree house} with a tree fort in them. It contained a camp on each side and a bridge that connected them. I distractedly listened to Ian tell Terry how neat it would be if he cold build it and I heard Terry say he could. Terry also spent some time drawing with him and even Sarah and Emily got into the act and drew some pictures of a tree camp. I just didn't think it would happen. Didn't think it was possible. Thought it was a pipe dream. So when I cleaned up to come home I threw away all the drawings {they had left them all over the table} and I thought we didn't need a reminder of what they wanted Terry to do, that couldn't be done. I should have known better. Terry is quite handy and really can do just about anything. It didn't take him very long either. The kids have a tree camp complete with a suspension bridge {Terry promised me that he could put in more vertical ropes for safety}. They love it! Spend as much time as they can there and when ever a friend comes over they can't wait to show it to them. I just hope they realize just handy their Daddy truly is!

This one picture of Em on the bridge gives you an idea of just how high up it is - it makes me a little nervous to say the least.

That's amazing! I need a bridge to our treehouse! Do you think he could make us one? Seriously...

What DOESN'T Terry do? That is really cool, but I can see the need for extra safety ropes, that is WAY up there! I wonder what is next...

Oh my gosh...that is awesome! Your husband is truly talented...I had no idea the bridge was THAT extensive when you were telling me about it. Way to go Terry!
