Fun & Games

The Slingsby's {Jane and Ally} and the Potters {Aimee and the girls} joined the kids and I in Sunriver for the weekend. We had a blast - swimming, playing games and biking {the adults walked in the spirit of training}. It was a quick trip but such a great time spent with friends. We also spent time with the Gaffney's and had a great dinner at the Samwick's. While at the Samwick's {there house is on the 1st tee} I actually wanted to get on the cours and play - boy have I come a long way when it comes to golf! Btw, Terry was thrilled to hear it.

The kids spent hours {and Im not exaggerating} playing games that didn't have to be "plugged in". Yahtzee and Uno for the bigger kids and the Lady Bug game for Emily. I was thrilled to watch Ian and the girls get along so well. Also, the first night I had planned for Ian to sleep out on the couch and the girls called him in to sleep in the room {there was an extra bed} to listen to and tell stories with the rest of them.  I loved how they included him {he was the only boy to 5 girls}

Emily has really taken off on ridding her bike {although she still has the training wheels on} she was a trouper on our walk and learned how to apply her breaks so she didn't need my help to get down "the serious hills".
