Book club met at Angela's house to discuss "The Pillars of the Earth". Not everyone finished the over 900 page book but of those of us who did it was a bit of a mixed review. Some thought it was too violent but I got caught up in the story and will admit that although it was very violent I read right through it and didn't give it much of a thought. I liked it and would recommend it. Lucky for me, after reading such a huge book, the group was looking for something much easier to read and everyone agreed to read twilight {which I have already read}. Stephenie Meyer's new book "breaking dawn" {the forth book in the twilight series} comes out on Friday so I will read that while the rest of book club decides if they are a Edward or Jacob fan. I can't wait to hear what they all think of the book.

Oh my gosh! How did I not know you were reading that! I LOVED it, and now I'm listening to the follow up book in the car. Hope you liked it :)
I am on page 25 and have met Edward...have not yet met Jacob. The writing is interesting and certainly has my attention. Curious to see where this one is going to lead us....I can say I would not have picked this one up but I am intrigued....
