The trees and flowers have bloomed {some of my favorite trees pictured above} but the weather, well, not so much. I am waiting {sometimes not so patiently} and waiting.
BTW, this is a violet that my friend Aimee gave me and I was thankful for it but in my head I thought 'I wonder how long it will take me to kill it?' {like many violets before it}. Soon after she gave it to me all the flowers died and fell off and I thought I would never see another flower on it since I have never managed to keep a violet long enough to see it flower again. Two weeks ago I noticed several buds and couldn't be more thrilled to have a violet flower after it has been in my care for the very first time. Yeah me!

OK that's funny. I think the same thing when people give me potted plants. The poor things don't even have a chance. It's just not in me.
Yeah! I didn't tell you I told it to behave for you! I told it to try your best to stay pretty! LOL
Pretty pictures! I love that the trees are blossoming in NYC.
