Homework

We had Wed, Thurs, & Fri. off from school last week for conferences so it was a great week (not having to drive anywhere YIPPEE!). It was a great break for the kids also but Ian's teacher, Mrs. Riahard, did send a writing assignment home that is due on Monday. Did Ian start it on Wednesday? No. Did He start it on Thursday? No again. What about Friday? NO AGAIN! So Saturday I made him sit down (kicking and screaming) to write his Halloween story. Once I got his mind on what he was doing it got much easier but the transition from free time (watching TV) to homework was difficult to say the least. So far, he is working on his "sloppy copy" and has two paragraphs down, one more to go. I think he just might get it done.
