Piano Recital

Ian and Sarah had their piano recital on Thursday night. I love that they play {something I always wanted to do but didn't have the opportunity} and most of the time they even love that they take lessons. The recital is a culmination of their efforts for the school year. Both kids give up a recess or art or music class once a week in order to take lessons at school and this year Ian gave up part of his lunch. It works out great for me because I only have to make sure they practice {and take their music to school on lesson day}. This year Ian played Spring {from The Four Seasons} by Antonio Vivaldi and Sarah played Romance {from A Little Night Music} by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

There are 30 kids that take piano lessons at the school and Mrs. Zeigler dose an awesome job getting the recital done in an hour flat and it is a very enjoyable experience to listen to them all - they all do such a good job!
