We spent Halloween at the Gaffney's again this year (good thing they keep inviting us because we can't trick or treat in our neighborhood) I made some chili for the adults and Aideen got pizza for the kids and we had dinner and then the Dad's took the kids out. Funny enough the first person back was Connor T followed not far behind by the other boys, Ian and Connor G and then about 10 min later by the first grade girls, Sarah, Molly and Caitlin. Surprisingly, the littlest kids, Emily and Ella, were the last to come in. They are both 4 and I think got the most joy out of knocking on peoples doors and getting candy. As everyone came back each kid engaged in the time-honored tradition of dumping out the candy on the floor, taking stock, counting and trading. I forgot my camera so will need to depend on either Kathleen or Aideen to give me photos so I can add one.
